Epoxy resin

Epoxy resin

Epoxy resin: the same material both in the core and on the surface of the countertop. The edges of the tops can be flat (slightly rounded), or superimposed profiles glued anti-drip of the same material. Epoxy resin countertops can include sinks of the same material, can withstand various cuts and/or technological holes and can be polished, to renew the work surface.

  • Recomendaciones de usoRecommendations:
    * Monolithic countertop, recommended in laboratories where organic solvents and various petroleum derivatives are used.
    * The epoxy resin countertop has very good chemical resistance and better behavior in contact with high temperatures/surfaces.
    * It is a fireproof material and durable - because this type of countertop is molded and has the same material on both the surface and its body, the surface can be renewed by polishing.

    Strengths:
    * Overlapping edges of the same material - glued.
    * Sinks made of the same material - available in many standard sizes.
    * The surface of the countertop is renewable by polishing.
    * Very good chemical resistance.
    * Better thermal resistance: no visible changes when in contact with red-hot iron.
    * Free dimensioning: non-standard dimensions.

    Weaknesses:
    * Low resistance to abrasion and dings.
    * Overlap drip edge is glued, not molded
