Solid Compact Acid-Proof HPL Laminate

The countertop is made of kraft paper embedded in polyphenolic resins, compacted at high temperature/high pressure - the resulting material is a compact panel with acid-proof coating. The core of the material can be exposed to moisture/water and various detergents, without any visible effect Both sides of this material are made of acid-proof melamine. This type of countertop can withstand multiple holes and cuts and can incorporate polypropylene sinks. The edges of the countertop can be flat (beveled) or overlapping, anti-drip, made of the same material or epoxy resin (optional).

    * Recommended for any type of laboratory with non-specific activities - chemical, microbiological, industrial , et c.

    Strengths:
    * Can be cut and molded outside of standard sizes: cutouts and/or irregular shapes.
    * Chemical, thermal and abrasion resistance - very good. r

    *A simpler/basic alternative to this product is also available: compact solid laminate worktop, with a decorative layer on both sides (not acid resistant). Intended for laboratories exposed to water, common cleaning products, but not concentrated corrosive reagents.

    Weaknesses:
    * There are no sinks made of the same material - the sinks intended for this type of countertop are made of PP , mounted under counter.
    * Adhesive overlapping drip edges.
